During my final semesters with the Cornell Council for the Arts, I was entrusted with co-curating the opening of the 2016 CCA Biennial, centered around the conceptual theme of “Abject/Object Empathies.” As part of my curatorial duties, I took ownership of the biennial’s overall event branding and designed a cohesive visual language for all print and digital event assets. In particular, I was responsible for designing the promotional materials for the opening Artist in Residence exhibition and corresponding projects by Caroline Woolard. By the end of my tenure, the brand identity and marketing assets I authored successfully informed the design of the CCA’s continued programming and promotions throughout the duration of the biennial.
Originate overall brand design for biennial including logo design, concept design, comprehensive web design, and advertising copywriting. Implement visual design language across all print and digital promotional materials including exhibition & programming announcements, banners, and event website. Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure brand cohesion and alignment amongst academic board members and contributing artists.
