In preparation for the annual National Arts Marketing Project Conference (NAMPC), I was assigned to help develop the brand identity and conference materials for the 2014 theme, “All the Places We Go,” to be held in Atlanta, Georgia. A large-scale networking event sponsored by the non-profit advocacy group Americans for the Arts, the conference was designed to provide arts professionals with real time access to marketing, research, and audience engagement strategies.
Design overarching visual language for the upcoming conference including logo design, typography, and color scheme. Perform expository research and author original copy for conference materials to share stories about community art activism in the United States. Design and finalize storytelling media for distribution at conference—including infographics, print publications, and banners. Produce promotional materials such as social media graphics and flyers to increase attendance and pre-registration for upcoming conference. Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure brand cohesion and alignment on all finalized materials.
